Equipment Calibration

Weapon, shield, engine, hull, mining, and scanner calibration each cap at level 10.

Field notes

Calibration improves fitted equipment but does not replace higher-tier modules. Weapon calibration raises base damage and projectile speed while reducing cooldown; scanner calibration improves cursor speed, tolerance, and pulse recharge.

In practice

Scanner 3 unlocks galaxy discovery; scanner 10 is mandatory for wormhole resolution.
